I am thinking of becoming a model. What can Canmedia do for me?

Canmedia is not a modeling agency, but we can help you with the photography aspects of modeling, and we can help place you into modeling and/or acting work through our contacts. Most models need a constant supply of current, unique, and outstanding photographs to market themselves, and for their portfolio. Canmedia's studio, outdoor and location photography is ideal for making a model's portfolio and photographs stand out.

Is Canmedia itself looking for models ?

Does Canmedia provide jobs for models ?

Sometimes we do, but mostly it is mall companies, agents, producers, and photographic services which occasionally contact us looking for talent to fulfill their advertising, fashion, or modeling needs. Whenever any project inquiry is received, we try notify the models who fit the criteria for the project by e-mail with all the specifics of the project in question.

Is working with you all I have to do to become a pro model ?

Unfortunately no. In order to achieve the goal of becoming a professional model—which means that you are signed by one or more legitimate modeling agencies, and earn income from modeling (or related) work—you must market yourself aggressively. The work which Canmedia will do with you is just one step needed to get you started on the road to success.

What types of photography does Canmedia do ?

We specialize the areas of artistic, fashion, outdoor, location, portrait and sports/action photography.
