David KaIny
My name is David KaIny, I am 55 years old, separated. I was born in Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia), where I studied Civil Engineering in Brno. I was fortunate to escape communist regime in 1980, and I became a Canadian citizen in 1984. I live in Toronto, Ontario.

I received my 1st camera at the age of 13, 35mm film Practica Super TTL. I loved photography ever since, shot thousands of rolls of film and spent many days in darkrooms, in the days when such things still existed . Digital technology makes this almost too easy.

I freelance as a Building Designer besides doing photography assignments. Some of the buildings in Toronto I have been involved with include Redpath Sugars main building addition on Queens Quay and 7-400 Centre at the NE corner of Hwy 7 and Hwy 400. These are not architectural marvels, but rather landmark buildings anyone living in Toronto drove by many times.
Hobbies and interests include tennis, skiing, travel, camping, fishing, reading, music and motorsport. And photography of course.
